&lt;strong&gt;Y.&lt;/strong&gt;: I have read so many Anzac biscuit recipes recently, and I think the key difference is the melting/caramelisation of the sugar which makes them almost like ginger snaps or florentine-like. My higher ratio of dry ingredients is probably a mistake because no one knows the recipe :)
